For a limited period the Council is removing graffiti free in our area - whether it is Council property or a private site. Toni Raybould is compiling a list of sites - and obtaining permission from owners - and would like to be advised of any graffiti sites.

GRAFFITI DAY
Thanks to the unflagging efforts of Toni Raybould another successful Graffiti day happened on Sunday 12th June. We even made it into the local paper!
If you would to report any graffiti spotted in the area please email Toni
Why you might ask do we bother.....
Essentially the Brackenbury Residents Association
started to get concerned over the level of graffiti in the area because we were
told by the police that the graffiti was linked to crack cocaine dealing.
Apparently, drug dealers use so-called "tags" to mark an area as being safe to
sell hard drugs in.
Our Neighbourhood Watch volunteers reported 2 crack cocaine houses to the police
and these were shut down. A dealer was arrested in Hammersmith Grove and an
entire drugs ring in Fulham was busted as a result of surveillance of their
activities selling drugs in Dalling Road.
Since March 2004 our volunteers have done a great job painting over
graffiti and cleaning it off of paintwork.
Hammersmith and Fulham Council have also assisted in brickwork cleaning.
Committee members can see further examples here. (password required)
